The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) will be awarding a number of scholarships to rural students in 2020!
The Foundation for Rural Service has a vital interest in helping rural communities grow and thrive. FRS is a part of The Rural Broadband Association or NTCA.
Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company is a proud member of these organizations who both strive to keep rural America alive in Washington, D.C.
High school seniors, who use NNTC services at home are invited to first create an account with NTCA and then submit an online application. You will choose “Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company” (#28524) as the employer when you set up an NTCA account and then you will choose “Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company” once again when picking your telecom sponsoring company during the online application process.
Scholarship applications are due ONLINE ONLY by March 6, 2020. Please make sure the student has our services at home, or the application will be disqualified. If the student lives in a home with another provider, please contact that provider directly to ask about the scholarship opportunity and if the provider is a “NTCA Sponsoring Company”.
Please read through the scholarship program guidelines to see if you qualify and to read through the application instructions BEFORE you begin the application process.
