Social media uses little data, unless video viewing is done frequently through social media channels.

Facebook offers a way to save data on their platforms.  Change your video to SD and/or stop automatic video play.  This is often referred to as “Data Saver”.

Instagram does not have any Wi-Fi savings opportunities at this time.

Twitter does have a data saving option to limit data use.  Follow the instructions below on an Android device, iPhone or desktop computer.
